Pakulonan Barat is the location of UMT Student Community Service Program in 2025

Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang (UMT) has again launched a Real Work Lecture (KKN) program in 2025 with the theme “Strengthening Environmentally Friendly MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium enterprises) for Sustainable Economic Development”. This activity was officially opened on July 15, 2025, and was attended by more than 2,000 students from various faculties and study programs.

One of the student placement locations is on Jl. Kademangan No. 38, West Pakulonan, Kelapa Dua Village, which is right next to the Mishbahul Huda Mosque. In this location, 28 students carried out community service through various programs designed in a participatory and contextual manner.

In Kademangan, we carry out various activities such as learning assistance for children, repainting street name signs, collecting data on local MSME players, and active involvement in social and religious activities with local residents. All activities are designed to suit the needs of the surrounding community and are carried out with a spirit of collaboration.

Our presence in the community is not only as an implementer of campus programs, but as a partner who learns and grows with the community. We realize that strengthening MSMEs is not enough with theory - it needs real touch, two-way communication, and alignment with sustainability values.

Although we faced a number of challenges such as limited facilities and adjusting to the local culture, we consider them as a learning process that shapes our maturity. Through our daily interactions, we have come to understand that sustainable development is only possible when economic, social, and environmental development go hand in hand.

KKN UMT 2025 has been an extraordinary learning space. From Kademangan, we returned home with more than just a report of our activities carrying the values of service, collaboration, and care that will live on in our journey as future leaders.
